Does it work on browsers other than Chrome?
Tabby is built for Chrome and any Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera). Firefox and Safari are not currently supported.
Does Tabby track my browsing?
Never. Tabby runs locally on your device. URLs and page titles are never stored or sent anywhere. The optional AI dialogue feature sends only coarse mood stats to generate responses — no browsing data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Manual Install
Prefer not to use the Chrome Web Store? Install the unpacked build directly. Chrome only allows this in Developer Mode.
- Download tabby-latest.zip and unzip it.
- Open
chrome://extensionsin your browser. - Toggle Developer mode (top-right) on.
- Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
Auto-updates only work via the Web Store version.
